Dr. Schechter is a board certified Internal Medicine physician who worked in Primary Care at the VA for 16 years including 4 in management as the Chief Medical Officer of the Santa Rosa CBOC.

Currently, she is the Chief Medical Officer for AffirmativHealth, a precision and personalised research based program that helps those with early memory loss and Alzheimer’s understand their disease, how to navigate the healthcare system and how, through lifestyle modification, analysis of blood biomarkers and genetics, to improve their memory, prevent memory loss or stabilise cognitive impairment that is subjective or mild, and find hope for the future where currently there is little or none.
