Meeting Brooke Warner at BookBaby Writers Conference

Diane Fener and I decided to head down to Philly to check out Book Baby's publishing conference. We had a great time and I had a chance to reconnect with Brooke Warner of She Writes Press. I even got to see a paperback copy of 'The Magic of Memoir' anthology.

Most people don't know that BookBaby is actually what came into being after the success of CDBaby, a service used by musicians and music lovers.

BookBaby has built a solid platform for indie authors who need help producing their books. It could get a bit pricey but the results do seem to be really good. If nothing else, I learned a lot about how to make sure my own production process at the Brooklyn Writers Press meets professional publishing standards.
