Looking back on the 2017 Highlights.

Attending one of New York City’s biggest book events of the year was a turning point for me—it helped shape the vision for Brooklyn Writers Press, even before we published our first title. Being at that event felt like a professional homecoming, confirming that I was on the right path.

Books have always held a certain magic for me since childhood. Now, years later, the idea that I can play a role in bringing them into the world feels like discovering a new kind of magic.
